MARRIAGE PREPARATION PROGRAM

St. Paul Catholic Newman Center’s Marriage Preparation Program is for registered Newman Center parishioners only. The Program requires you to 1) complete an online PREPARE/ENRICH assessment and participate in a follow-up meeting to review the results of the assessment; 2) Register for and attend one of the Newman Center’s Saturday Marriage Preparation Workshops; 3) Attend a follow-up session with a marriage and family life counselor associated with the Newman Center if necessary. Upon completion of these requirements, you will have satisfied the Diocese’s Marriage Preparation requirement.

The Newman Center offers one-day, Marriage Preparation Workshops to assist engaged couples in fulfilling the pre-marriage preparation required by the Diocese of Fresno. If you are planning a wedding in 2023-24, you are welcome to participate in our marriage preparation program and attend our next Workshop.

The date for the next Marriage Preparation Workshop is: TBA

The Marriage Preparation Workshop begins at 8:00 a.m. and concludes with Mass at 5:00 p.m.

The cost is $250 per couple. (*If marrying at the Newman Center, these services are included in the Newman Center’s Wedding fee).

This fee includes the PREPARE/ENRICH assessment with follow-up sessions to review and discuss the results, the Marriage Prep Workshop, and any follow-up counseling sessions if necessary. Continental Breakfast & Lunch are provided at the Workshop.
