Mission Trips and Immersion Experiences

In response to charge of the Gospel and the call of Jesus Christ, Saint Paul Catholic Newman Center mission trips allow college students to share in and learn from the lived experiences of our brothers and sisters around the country and world. Through personal interactions, solidarity through simple living, and exploration of Catholic Social Teaching, students will develop their relationship with self, others and God.

This past spring break, students traveled to Chicago, IL and lived with the community at Su Casa Catholic Worker. Su Casa serves families who live without a home, many of whom are women and children seeking escape from domestic violence.

In January 2018, students travelled to Maggotty, Jamaica. They helped the local housing ministry build houses for families in need.
